Dear Walmart- and Sam’s Club-affiliated OD, Since 2006, the Optometric Business Academy (OBA), sponsored by CIBA VISION, has conducted annual national surveys among affiliated ODs to establish productivity benchmarks useful to practice owners in assessing performance. The results of these surveys are published in Key Metrics of Optometric Practice at Walmart and Sam’s Club, and are posted on www.oba-ce.com. In addition, results are found in Maximizing Your Practice Potential, a practice-building manual, and in the quarterly newsletter Acuity in Business. We request that you complete the Calendar 2009 Annual Practice Performance questionnaire online: www.Jobson.com/Calendar2009 As with previous surveys, you do not need to identify yourself or your location on the questionnaire, so the practice information you provide will remain completely confidential. Neither the OBA sponsors nor Walmart will have access to your individual responses. The Walmart Health and Wellness Division endorses this important, ongoing research program. Please respond by April 2, 2010. Complete findings of the 2010 survey will be published during the second quarter. Thanks in advance for your help.
