Violet’s Story
Going for Gold with Myopia Control
Meet Violet, an accomplished young figure skater with aspirations of Olympic gold. By the time she turned nine, her family began to observe signs of myopia and worried how that would impact Violet in doing what she loves. When Violet’s eye care professional prescribed MiSight® 1 day myopia control contact lenses for age appropriate children,* it was a win-win for her lifestyle and her future eye health.†1 Since she began wearing the lenses, her myopia has not gotten worse.‡±2
“We can’t control Violet having myopia because, as we know, myopia is caused by genetic and environmental factors.3 But, one thing that we can do right now is to take control and to be proactive in slowing down the progression of her myopia. That’s why we chose MiSight® 1 day contact lenses for Violet.”
